Administration
As a Plimus vendor, you have full access
to a wealth of utilities to help you
maximize your revenue, ranging from setup
screens where you can customize your
order pages, email templates so your
customers can receive customized emails,
license management tools, where you can
either upload your custom licenses that we
will send out on each order, or use the
Plimus Piracy Protection
Flexibility
With the Plimus BuyNow solution, you have
full control over the licensing options
you wish to offer your customer, you can
create multiple pricing schemes for each
product, thus allowing you, for example,
to sell your product at a discount if more
than 2 licenses are to be purchased, or
you can offer some customers special
pricing, or offer different pricing
options based on the time of the year,
etc.
Multi-lingual / Multi-currency Order
Pages
Being that the internet is an
international platform, and that most
people feel more comfortable in a familiar
environment, we have taken e-commerce to
the next level by creating that
environment for them with a unique
technology that automatically displays
your order pages to your customers in
their language and their currency based on
their geographical location, this powerful
feature will help you close more sales.
CD On Demand
You can offer your customers the option to
buy your product on a CD. We will create
and deliver a custom, commercial CD to
your customer, not only this service is free to you, but you can actually make
some revenue off it. There are no setup
fees, you just upload your file and that's
it, you can now ship your product on a CD
as well.
Real Time Monitor
Monitor all activities on your BuyNow
pages, including failed transactions, with
detailed descriptions of what happened,
customer email addresses and their
physical location enable you to contact
potential buyers in real time. Track how
many customers came to your BuyNow pages
but did not continue the purchase process,
know exactly what your customers did, when
and how. (see
example)
Custom Order Fields
Define custom fields to collect
information from your customer during the
purchase process.
Ex -- Where did you hear about us, what
is the old version's license key they are
using, what is their serial number,
etc.
Restrictions
You can set up special prices for your
products that can only be accessed through
a private area by entering
username/password that you supply to your
customers. This is very helpful to manage
re-seller relationships.
You could also set up special prices for
your product for specific organizations
and restrict access to them by the subnet
domain the user is coming from. For
example, if you have a deal with ABC
Company, you could create special pricing
available only to users coming through the
abccompany.com domain.
Export Restrictions by Countries:
When you have a version which is only to
be sold to selected markets (e.g. only in
Europe) or if you have to comply with
certain export restrictions (for example,
US export restrictions to certain
countries), you can specify which
countries are to be excluded or included
for any particular product.
HTTP Notification
Integrate the Plimus Payment engine with
your website's back-end operations. With
this method, you don't have to rely solely
on an email notification, you can also get
notified via http post in real time of any
new order.
Payment Options
Offer your customers a variety of paymen options: MasterCard, Visa, EuroCard, American Express, Discover/Novus, Diners Club, JCB, Switch, Solo, US$ Checks, Eurochecks, Wire Transfers, PayPal. Payments can be made Online, by PO, Fax, Mail or Phone.
Promotions
The BuyNow solution allows you to create
special bundle promotions for your
products. With this feature, you can link
products together, at different discount
rates if needed, so when your customers
purchase one, their attention will be
drawn to the other complementary products,
at which point they'll be able to add them
to their order with a simple mouse-click.
Affiliate Program
Affiliates are entities that may recommend
or actively promote your products with
their customers and with whom you may want
to share the revenue for sales originated
through them. Our affiliate program allows
you not only to track your affiliates’
performance via real-time reports, but to
do automated revenue-sharing with them,
you tell us what their share is and we
will pay them for you.
Royalties
Some vendors use code or patents in their
product which require paying royalties per
sale, if you need to pay royalties for
each order you sell, you only need to
enter the details, the amount (fix amount
or percentage) and Plimus will pay them
for you.
Coupons
Coupons can be used to give special
discounts, track your marketing efforts or
to limit access to a particular order
page. Our sophisticated coupon feature
allows you to:
- Give a regular discount. (10% Off,
$5 Off, etc.)
- Give an X discount if order total is
greater than Y (10% Off when you spend
$100, etc.)
- Limit the times a coupon can be used -
overall and per user.
- Grant/deny access to a particular
order page by making a particular
coupon mandatory.
- Limit coupon for specific periods
(Valid through 2004, Or only in March,
etc.)
Coupons are very flexible, they can be
set per product or contract, they can
be set to include or exclude any
number of them, etc.
Upgrade Entitlement Management
Offer special prices to returning
customers, we will validate their
eligibility against previous purchases
within our system or against a list
(previous license key, invoice number,
email etc.) you upload to the system.
Shipping & Additional Charges
A flexible mechanism allow you to
define additional charges to the
order/item such as : Support contract,
Add-Ons, Manual, upgrade subscription
etc.
You can define Shipping &
Additional charges to be selected
automatically based on the customer
location (country), or you can allow
them to choose from a list.
Reporting and Statistics
Plimus provides a wide variety of
reports that are accessible online so
you can track your product's progress
at any time, we will also supply a
detailed statement at the end of each
cycle which contains all the previous
month's activities.
* All reports can be exported to
Excel.
Payments
Based on your preference, we will pay
you by Direct Deposit (available in
the US only), Check, PayPal or via Wire
transfer once a month.
If your monthly revenue is more than $20,000
we can pay you twice a month and if
it's more then $40,000 - even 4 times
a month.
Security
Plimus uses the highest level of
encryption throughout the entire order
and setup processes, from all order
pages, through the storage of customer
information, and credit card
processing which is done by Wells
Fargo, one of the largest and most
trusted financial institutions.
We follow all internet standards for
validating credit cards such as AVS,
CVV2 as well as our own fraud
detection and prevention mechanisms
which evaluate and verify many
variables during the order process
such as valid email addresses, names,
addresses, zip codes, cross checking
ip addresses against locations, zip
codes and states, we also employ
"Black List" mechanisms for
known and repeat offenders, and many
more automatic mechanisms that for
your and our protection shall remain
confidential.
Our fraud detection and prevention
team constantly monitors the system
making sure no one is going to get a
free copy of your valuable software.
When there is a suspicious
transaction, we will call your
customer and/or his/her bank, switch
to manual processing, disable the
download of the full version and/or
stop the notification emails with the
instructions to the customer.
